Together with Electricité du Laos and local partners, we are planning a 100 MW immersion-cooled computing center near the Nam Ngum hydropower station. The project will make full use of abundant rainy-season hydropower that cannot be exported, enabling compliant digital asset mining and AI inference services.

The first 5 MW validation unit was deployed in early 2026. Operating data shows that, under a compliant framework, green-power-direct-supply mining can deliver an annualized computing return exceeding 25%, while generating significant peak-shaving revenue for the local grid.

The full 100 MW project is expected to reach commercial operation by 2029, consuming over 800 million kWh of otherwise curtailed hydropower annually, reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 450,000 tonnes, and creating more than 300 high-skilled O&M positions in Laos.

Adopting industry-leading immersion cooling technology with a PUE below 1.09, the project has a 20-year green power direct-supply agreement with the Lao government, ensuring both cost advantage and compliant operations. As Nine Digits Technology's flagship project in Southeast Asia, it injects new momentum into the regional digital economy and provides a replicable commercial model for Chinese enterprises participating in Belt-and-Road green infrastructure. Starting from here, we continue to expand a clean-energy and computing synergy network across Laos and neighboring countries.
